Anyway i was going through ELLE MAGAZINE(JUNE 2011) and checked out some designer looks for this spring and got really influenced or rather breathtaken by THAKOON! its a fashion house owned by an Indian named Panichgul.

The designs are just awesome and quit chic and very sophisticated! Particularly what i like is from the model who struted it, to your favourite celebrity and of course to the girl next door can rock this outfits! they include cocktail dresses.. which you can go to work in and party at nite with! The tailoring is phenomenal..., just enough leg is shown so they are not skimpy which makes it a formal and cocktail dress just by adding a funky clutch!
He also used a lot of print which is selectively cool for spring!He used most of the print for dresses and matched then with bold dark colours.

he also made sure to use the Maasai shuka! i like the way he played with the fabric using the shuka...he made a dress, a sleeveless jacket and winter jackes too which goes with the pants (including the colour).I had to add them to my lookbook even :)!
The hair and make up was quit creative to especially the eye make up!He used red eyeshadow that made the models eyes noticable..and was kind of tribal.
The use of coral blue nailpolish for every look was quit fun and cooly blended with the outfits since they were heavy fabrics so light nail polish was a clever trick!

Panichgul also did not forget to include satin in his collection for cocktail dresses
